Today composer Paul Moravec turns 54 years young. He'll have a world premiere this January in San Antonio with SOLI Chamber Ensemble, basing a quartet on Beethoven's Grosse Fuge - part of the Beethoven Festival.Moravec is also the commissioned composer for the San Antonio International Piano Competition in October 2012 and will be in town to judge.
