Bocelli in SA
Andrea Bocelli is performing tomorrow and Wednesday for the San Antonio Opera. On the program is Cavalleria Rusticana by Pietro Mascagni (sung in Italian with English/Spanish supertitles). They'll also perform operatic favorites on the first half of the concert.
Listen for a news story on KSTX this afternoon and we'll are happy to share this video footage from this afternoon's press conference.
I was very honored to attend the amazing Cavalleria Rusticana on Tuesday Novemeber 25 in San Antonio. Andrea was perfection. The performances by all the cast was unbelievable. I can only tell you I was honored and riveted to watch and be in the presence of such a magical evening. When Turiddu,Andrea sang "Mamma, quei vino e generoso" it touched my heart with his deep emotional farewell . It was amazing.I felt his emotion in my soul. I had the very good fortune to be introduced to Andrea after the concert and all I could say was "Bravo".
An experience of a life time ! I am still in heaven.
I will be in Lajatico this summer to experience Teatro Del Silenzio.
My wife and I attended Wednesday night’s opera and all we can say is "Wow!" What a truly wonderful event. We have been longtime fans of Andre but have not been able to attend a concert. What an honor for San Antonio, Texas, and for us that he would have his first appearance in San Antonio. May he please honor us with a return appearance? Andre truly is the greatest tenor!

Thank you for putting this interview on the site so we could see it.
