Cactus Pear Music Festival: Young Artist Winners

KPAC congratulates the winners of this year’s Cactus Pear Music Festival Young Artist Program!

These five young musicians will have the opportunity to study one-on-one with visiting artists this summer as part of the Cactus Pear Music Festival (July 4 – July 17). On Saturday, July 16, the YAP (Young Artist Program) Ensemble will debut the winning chamber music composition from Cactus Pear’s second annual Young Composer Xtreme Competition.

From the Top is coming...


The premier radio (and now television) showcase for young classical musicians, From the Top, is coming to San Antonio for a live show at Trinity University's Laurie Auditorium. Area musicians will perform with host Christopher O'Riley; the show will be taped for broadcast nationwide.


The date is Saturday, September 13, at 7:00 p.m., and tickets are on sale now.
Don't forget to listen to From the Top, Saturday mornings at 10:00 on KPAC 88.3 FM and KTXI 90.1 FM!
